“Before I got engaged I knew I wanted Abbey to be my wedding photographer. Many of my friends and family members had used her and continued to rave about how professional and easy Abbey was to work with. As soon as I got engaged I called Abbey, right away she started helping me with some of the things I needed to get done. Abbey wasn’t just my photographer; she quickly became my friend and confidant. When I was unsure about how things were supposed to go or things I was supposed to do Abbey was quick to help in any way she could. Her knowledge about everything wedding related helped in more ways than one.
Now, her photos, I don’t even know how to begin to describe them. I had such a hard time picking out my photos because every picture she took was gorgeous. During photo sessions it is easy to feel awkward posing in different positions that might not seem natural, but Abbey made everything relaxed and easy. My now husband, commented after we took our engagement photos how surprisingly fun and easy it was and I credit that all to Abbey. We also wanted some photos with our dog, before the day we took the pictures, Abbey had done all the research on what place would be dog friendly as well as what photos to take that would compliment our personalities and his (our dog). We had so much fun working with Abbey.
The big day came and we were ready to get married. Abbey made a suggestion that we get ready at a hotel. We got two hotel suites at the Grand America where we all met to get ready. I was in one room with my 10 bridesmaids, my mother, her sister and her mother and he was in another with his groomsmen. Abbey navigated her way through the chaos between the two suites and was able to capture some of my favorite memories. She was professional in getting my huge family and friends to pose for a pictures (not an easy feat). I will always be grateful for Abbey for capturing the most important day in our lives. This day is and will forever be one of my most cherished memories, and the best part is I have beautiful photos to prove it. “
