Utah State Capitol Engagement Photography | Emma & Julio

Utah State Capitol Engagement Photography

These two. I was so incredibly excited to shoot their engagement session. Emma is an art major so she wanted to shoot with the architecture and art of the Utah State Capitol as the background. It was absolutely perfect and set the scene so well. They are such natural in front of the camera and we had the most wonderful morning getting to know each other and capturing these images.

I am so excited with how Emma and Julio’s engagement session turned out!

Emma and Julio have such a cute story about how they met and fell in love, and I just have to share it:

We met at a party that he and his friends threw. I hate going to parties but some friends convinced me to go and I’m sure glad they did! We chatted for a bit and he asked me out a few weeks later when he saw me in the BYU library. We started going on dates and I loved his honesty and confidence. It took a while for us to start dating but when we did things just kept getting better and better. We suffered through long distance together over the summer. I studied in Israel and he began training for his job in NYC. At the end of the summer, I visited him in the city and it was one of my favorite trips ever! On our year anniversary, I told him I wanted to plan what we did. Especially since he’s always the one doing things for me. I ended up surprising him with a homemade meal. Which completely surprised him because I detest cooking and never do it, pretty sure he didn’t think I could cook).

Scripture Study

THE STARTING POINT FOR SCRIPTURE DIGGING WITH WELL WITHIN HER

The main reason we study the scriptures is to gain wisdom and grow closer to God. A friend of mine calls the scriptures “Letters from Home.” But how do we get everything we can out of our scripture study? In this guide, I am going to walk you through how I started to gain more wisdom and insight into God’s word each time I read.

Let's study together!
