Bountiful Utah Family Photography
I was so excited to see this family this year. It has been a few years since I have last taken their photos and so it was so fun to get to see them and see how much their kids have grown.
This session is also such a great example of why it is important to trust your photographer. We had scheduled to do photos on a different day and when that first date rolled around the weather was not ideal. It was gloomy and gray that day. Now we could have pushed through and just had the session, but I knew that I wanted great light. And so did she! So we decided to postpone and I am so glad.
Now, postponing is hard, I totally get that, especially when you have busy kids. But it is so worth it. This session would have been completely different if we would have shot on that gloomy day. Sometimes I think we get to this place of “let’s just get them done with our family photos” but I think that waiting can be worth it. Especially when you are waiting on the light.
Golden light really takes each session to a different level. It adds so much to your images. The day we rescheduled to could not have been more perfect and the light here adds such a magic to these images.
I am so happy when clients see my best work, want that best work, and then are willing to do what needs to be done to create it.
This session was definitely one of my favorites from the year and I am so excited to show it off to you.
