I have a confession…it takes a lot to get me excited about shooting fall leaves. They just aren’t my thing. I have never been one of those photographers who look forward to fall leaves all year long and jam packs my schedule with as many fall sessions as possible. If I had my way in the world, all my sessions would occur during the spring and summer when the greens are greening and the light lasts all day.
But when you bring together golden fall leaves with a hint of green and gorgeous light, I can be convinced. Add in that one of my favorite families and I am absolutely there.
These three are some of my favorite humans. Brecklee is one of the best people that I know and truly I believe that everyone needs a Brecklee in their life. She is absolutely the best of the best and her friendship is something I value so much. Getting to be able to capture their growing family is one of the reasons I love being a photographer.
I am so excited to be showing off this session. The colors turned out so beautiful and I love this autumn summer vibe. Brecklee found this location and it was absolutely lovely. And of course, I love that we captured so much of Bronx’s adorable two year old personality. He is so much fun and just makes everyone around him happy. He keeps us all on our toes but his laughter is the best and getting to see him being silly and that great smile is what I hope to capture in every family session.
