Bountiful Utah Family Photography
You would never, ever, ever know it by looking at these photos but about five minutes into this session, my clients daughter got bit my some kind of bug. It was not good. There were so many tears and instantly a huge welt on her arm and she was understandably so upset. We never quite figured out what the bug was, but this session became a great example of how parents keeping their cool is so vital to family photos.
Kids fall, they get ornery, sometimes they fall asleep on the car ride there, they get hungry, and sometimes they just aren’t feeling it…and then on a very rare occasion they get bit by a random bug. Lots can happen during photos, but parents have the ability to keep a session on track. And when things do happen, parents have the ability to take a pause, slow down, and turn things around for the better.
And look what can happen when they do!
I absolutely love this session. The colors, the candid interactions, the laughs. Everything ended up so well. And I give all the credit to my wonderful clients who loved on their little one when things took a turn for the worse and then helped move things to a great place.
