Utah County Extended Family Photography

I have said it before and I am sure I will say it again but extended family sessions are some of my favorites. I know not every photographer feels that way but I would photograph extended families all day every day if I could.

It’s so fun to see the whole crew together. Grandparents with grandkids, siblings together who don’t get to see each other as much as they once did, aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. Extended family sessions are always so full of excitement to be together and such great energy.

This family was no different. They were all SO happy to be together. It made for a great session. I am so excited about all the fun candid moments we got to capture and love that you can just feel when you look at the photos. Can we also give big props to mom (for some Grandma!) who did such a great job at styling this bunch. It always make me so happy when things look effortless and styled. It brings so much to a session!

One thing I really love about extended family photography too is the chance to do little micro sessions of the smaller groups. Siblings together. The smaller families. I just love having the time to be able to capture such a good assortment of photos that everyone will love.
