When it comes to friends becoming family, Cassidy is one who fits right into that category.
I took her senior photos. I took all her dance photos. When she fell in love with Mitch, I was there to take her engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. She then became my nanny. And she was there for me the night my mom died and scooped my kids up and loved on them while I went to be with my dad. She and Mitch were then models for me, which unbeknownst to everyone little baby June was growing in her mommies tummy at the time.
I count this little family, and her sister and mother as some of my favorite people in the world and feel so lucky to have been able to be a piece of their lives.
I also love now that despite both starting in other cities and towns we now live so close to each other so our friendship and my ability to take their family photos can continue. We got together late this summer for this family session and everything could not have been more perfect. Despite frantically trying to find outfits the day before, Cassidy, of course, pulled it off. And this location and the lighting made me feel like we were on some gorgeous trail in California. It was just sublime.
The little ones, Mr. G and June, are too wonderful and I am so excited to show these off.
I hope to be able to do so many more sessions here. It is so beautiful and the light and location was absolutely perfect.
