Each year, I look back on all the weddings of the year and I just love reliving the moments of them. Emma and Julio’s wedding was one of the highlights for me. It was a perfect day…despite a bit of rain. These two are such an amazing couple and I was so grateful to be a part of their big day.
But I feel like Emma can tell it better than I can. Here is what she said:
My wedding day, though it didn’t go exactly as expected, was the best day of my life! After weeks of the weather forecast predicting sunny and 80 degrees we left the Salt Lake Temple to downpour! However, it was one of my favorite parts of the day. Standing around with our closest friends and family taking pictures in the pouring rain! I was worried about the reception, hoping it would be set up in time, and I was blown away when we arrived to the reception.
My favorite moments were when I watched Julio’s friends toss him up in the air and then tried to run away when they were going to do the same with me, but my new husband grabbed me and tossed me in the air! I also loved dancing with my dad to one of my childhood lullaby’s and seeing my mom tear up. My first dance with my husband and then our exit will always be moments I remember as well, as we drove away in my Opa’s car he spent his life building.
I also absolutely loved the sweet words she shared about her experience with me and Bianca:
I absolutely LOVED working with Abbey and Bianca! Weddings can be so stressful to plan so its a huge sigh of relief when you have an organized and on-top-of-things photographer (or set of!). I really appreciated that Abbey was committed to making sure I was happy with my photos and getting the best quality, it showed me that she truly cares about not only her brides but also the quality of work she produces. She basically is a wedding planner as well, as she kept EVERYONE in line and accomplishing things on time, got our giant bridal party to cooperate with pictures and made sure to capture every single special moment we had.
Having timeless, beautiful photos was one of the most important things to me for my wedding and I felt that AK Studios was the best option. You get more than you pay for with the quality, quantity, and timeliness of your images! I never had to stress when it came to my pictures because I knew they were going to turn out perfect, and I think thats something every bride wants!
Have I ever mentioned that we literally have the best brides…because we do! I feel so lucky and blessed to be a part of these amazing days with these absolutely amazing people.
If you want to see more of Emma and Julio make sure to check out their engagement session and bridal session.
I have to give a big shout out to all the amazing vendors who made this beautiful day possible.
